MMA North is centrally located alongside Cory Hearn Personal Training at our gym in Kingsmeadows, less than a 10-minute drive from the city of Launceston. Below you’ll find all the details on how to book a casual session/sign up to be a member and as always if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for please get in touch.

  • Simply create a free account via the Cory Hearn website HERE.

    You’ll then see two options that relate to MMA North either ‘Casual Payments’ or our full ‘MMA North Membership.’ Once you’ve created your account you’ll be able to book yourself in for any MMA North Class on our timetable.

  • A casual class pass is $15 for non-members. Our MMA North Membership is $35 per week, this includes access to all of our classes and support from our experienced trainers.

    If you’re travelling OR would prefer to pay cash, that’s okay too. Just contact us and we’ll put you on the class list.

  • Most martial arts classes can get particularly sweaty so do bring a drink bottle and towel at a minimum. If it’s your first time we recommend wearing fitness clothing you are comfortable in.

    If you have a mouth guard we recommend bringing this.

  • We’re so excited to hear that you want to try BJJ!

    For all beginners, we recommend you try out our no-gi fundamentals class on Tuesdays before investing in a gi to make sure it’s for you. However, if you’re keen to try one on for size we have gi’s you can wear for a session.
